There's an old Sufi saying that goes "If all murids were as loyal and faithful as dogs there would be no need for shaykhs." There's a lot of truth there.
Aw, I am so sorry to hear that. He's such a precious soul. He's eating liver pate and chasing cats I presume..I always figured there were plenty of cats and vermin to chase in dog heaven. Perhaps huge trash cans waiting to be knocked over.... but that would be for the ill behaved and lovable bunch we have now...
